Klaatu's first album is fascinating to me because it's such an amazing mix of several styles. Your hear the california pop sound, psych rock, prog, and there's this track that makes me suspect Klaatu was composed of time travellers. They were way ahead of their time.
True Life Hero feels like a song you'd hear Foo Fighters sing, but it released in 1976!!! It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn Dave Grohl liked Klaatu and took some inspiration from this. But yeah the entirety of 3:47 EST aka Klaatu is filled with great songs.
