I just remembered. I think the indie game I'm most looking forward to entering early access in the nebulous future is My Winter Car. My Summer Car is genuinely one of the best games I've ever played, a true life sim, car sim game that inspired a bunch of other games trying to follow in its footsteps but none have come close (other than Mon Bazou).
The antagonistic nature of the game is frustrating but over the course of playing you start learning how to deal with it, and conquering the deadly, deadly finnish summer and getting your car working and keeping it running is one of the most satisfying experiences in games.
