on launch it used to cost R$4000 here, so that kinda settled the fact I'd never own one for many, many years. The Pro models are a little under 4K now, so someday in the far flung future I'd like to own one of these just to play Bloodborne, because it still won't have been ported to PC. I got my PS3 around the time the PS4 was coming out, and even then I missed out on the whole console gaming experience because console gaming is so costly in Brazil. Games often cost over R$200 and it made no sense to buy them since I have a PC that can run things pretty well (I remember being stunned at how well Witcher 3 ran on mine) and steam sales made sure games dropped to affordable prices after a while.
