therian box in two shades of blue, the text reads "this user's theriotype is a gray wolf", there's a picture of a gray wolf on the left and the therianthropy symbol on the top right corner.

desperately trying to get starfield bugs acknowledged from the latest beta branch by posting in the official discord and I feel like a complete idiot lol. I know that bugs are to be expected in a beta, but the things introduced in this beta update which mostly involved lighting improvements, astound me. the game now softlocks on the main quest because of another bug where the ship doors will forever read as inaccessible, preventing you from entering your ship by interacting with the door. you can enter the ship via hitting the Cockpit shortcut, however, best I can tell (guess, really), in the quest All That Money Can Buy you're forbidden from fast traveling, even to your ship, since the game needs you to board it normally and take off normally for the story, but entering it via the Cockpit button doesn't make the quest flag move forward, so to get around one bug I encountered another, the quest should read "Talk to Walter", but the game thinks you haven't entered the ship if you use the shortcut, so talking to Walter works, right up until he gives you the reward then the game softlocks and dialogue never ends, Presumably because of quest flags because this is always what goes wrong in bethesda games and why using console commands disabling achievements is incredibly stupid.

I guess I shouldn't have tried to play the main quest on a new character on the beta branch after all, shit's fucked and they didn't even do any update to ships, or nothing that was highlighted in the patch notes at least. stuff broke badly though and I'm not sure there's a way to fix it without console commands or waiting for an eventual possible fix (lol)

okay something is seriously wrong with starfield. for some reason, and I'm still curious why or how this could even happen, the game forgot I had any sort of perks related to reloading? out of nowhere my gun started reloading at the default speed which felt like I got a debuff from god. reloading a quicksave did nothing, so now I'm curious if restarting the whole game is enough for it to remember that I have put character points into making my character better. I did a quick search for "starfield reload bug" and someone's getting confused about animation cancelling, other people were experiencing a completely different bug, so I dunno what happened.
