oh god CSS is such a big rabbithole to jump into. ironic that I'm only now learning about it now that cohost is over, but uhh this seems fun. coding always seemed daunting but this is very intuitive once I figure out syntax and text properties.

so we found this site which has japanese song lyrics. neat right? I wanted to copy some of them to maybe tweet but no the site disables all interactions for some reason so I can't even highlight text or copy it. this is like hostile web design via CSS fuckery? I don't know anything about web development or how pages work but I fucking hate it. it feels like a genuine CSS crime. now to look up some guide on how to bypass this via that Stylus add-on maybe? I dunno.

edit: okay it was blocking selection via javascript. fuck you javascript, neither stylus or tampermonkey css modifications really worked and now I get why. sorta. still really annoyed that I had to open the inspector and disable javascript manually to be able to select some song lyrics.
