I think my favorite Data scene in TNG is the one where he's doing experiments to test the idiom "a watched pot never boils" and not getting it because it always boils at a precise time regardless if he's observing it or not. Riker tells him that most people don't have internal chronometers and suggets he turns it off, then the scene ends when the pot starts boiling and it surprises him, it's adorable. I always remember that one when I have to boil water for any reason. it's such a simple thing, the passage of time, but we all do experience it wildly differently, especially those of us with ADHD time blindness is super real
