I had some vague ideas on how I was gonna do it, but wow turns out playing around with layer blending modes and stuff was really fun.

I was mostly focusing on their hair redesign instead of any idea why they're looking like they are but I think that title works. I think they'd react like that to a bad joke like that.

I'm vibing with the idea of drawing their hairstyles kinda "swapped around", before Rose had the more prim hairstyle and Riley had the more playful one. obviously I didn't just swap around their hair, just the general idea. I'm enjoying this, might do some more sketches to flesh this out some more. I really like how Riley's hair looks though, I think this fits her perfectly.

but I'll say I think my art's gotten marginally better since then (or a lot better). I just really vibed with their hair and doing it slightly different each time, but the core is still the same, always kept in mind where to place each line to get that general shape.
