arguably, For Baby (For Bobbie) is one of the most beautiful songs John Denver ever sung. Real highlight of Rocky Mountain High for me, the whole album is excellent and the whole four seasons suite is beautiful, but For Baby is just. so good.

Reading a Klaatu interview with John Woloschuk about their last album Magentalane and I absolutely love hearing about songwriting and influences, I didn't pick up on the Simon and Garfunkel influences in this track (I Don't Wanna Go Home), the sitar on Blue Smoke, the disagreements on what December Dream was about (it was not about John Lennon's death, it was written before that), John just wanting to write a good kid's song with Mrs. Toad's Cookies.. just argh what a fun interview, I liked learning more about an album I absolutely love.

I feel like more people should be aware people in Zambia in the 1970s were making some fucking awesome rock music and it's its whole thing, Zamrock.

I think Not so Sweet Martha Lorraine is one of the best psych rock tracks ever. honestly all of Eletric Music for the Mind and Body is just excellent
