therian box in two shades of blue, the text reads "this user's theriotype is a gray wolf", there's a picture of a gray wolf on the left and the therianthropy symbol on the top right corner.

nothing else Janis Joplin was involved in hits like Big Brother to me. Cheap Thrills is such a good album. I still believe Janis Joplin is overrated in the sense that she didn't make Big Brother great, it's that everyone in that band were great musicians and her being part of it was an ingredient of their success, not the sole reason.

Anyways check out Big Brother (& The Holding Company), sorry about the offensive album cover though, that's the shittiest thing about this otherwise excellent album.

little did The Hobbits (band) know that in the far flung future of 2023 trying to look up lyrics to their songs on-line would be a pretty pointless exercise in frustration since you're just gonna get results about the movies and the book itself

anyways I have no fucking idea what's being said in the chorus. All I can catch is "Treats that groove your hair" or maybe it's "groove your head"? anyways I love this song and think this all makes for some pretty cool lyrics to sing along to, even if I can't quite understand the words.

I almost didn't hear about his passing. Nobody in my circles talked about it. Crosby was a big musician in the 60s, he was part of The Byrds, he composed several great songs as part of The Byrds and of course CSN and CSNY, he also worked with played with the Jefferson Airplane on a few occasions and almost got shot by Grace Slick (no, really).

I'm going to listen to the CSN-Y albums I have, and if I had to highlight some great Crosby tracks it'd have to be Wooden Ships and Guinnevere.

Wooden Ships embodies the anxiety of the 60s that the end of the world would come with nuclear war, and this deals with the aftermath of that. I'd also really recommend listening to the Jefferson Airplane version

I don't know what to say about Guinnevere other than it's an absolutely gorgeous song. It has made me emotional on more than one occasion and this is one track that really showcases CSN's amazing vocal performances and vocal harmonies. Crosby has been quoted as saying "It might be my best song."

So in conclusion, another giant from the era passes away. RIP David Crosby and thanks for all the great music.
