man, otherside picnic was so good. i wish my life was a yuri where we enter The Zone from Stalker

the zone being populated by creatures of japanese folklore and urban legends in addition to anomalies is such a big brain idea, the fact that it's gay is the cherry on top.

yes even the ninja cats episode was good imo for what could've been an absolute disaster of an episode.

like all anime it could've been gayer but I still enjoyed all of it, the bizarre english spoken by all those american soldiers, the guns, the creepy urban legend stuff, the stupíd (I say this lovingly) episode about ninja cats, it was all interesting and I'd totally watch a second season of it just to see Sorawo and Toriko getting into shit again in surreal and or creepy environments where they have to shoot at supernatural monsters. I feel like it very much got away from some of its inspirations (Roadside Picnic, Stalker) but that was fine, it did some cool stuff with its urban legend inspirations.
