I wanted to practice/learn how to draw birds better so I sketched this up last night at 3 AM, she's a raven girl. still have ways to go with learning how to draw beaks but I'm okay with how this turned out!

depression inspires art about depression I think, this sketch is that. trying to convey somehow how heavy the face feels when you're depressed, so you just end up looking.. not sad but just tired and done with everything.

I've been doing a few bust sketches recently because that's my comfort zone, I need to finish a bunch of other more elaborate pieces but these are relatively quick to do since I'm not doing lines or anything that takes a long time to do.

POV: there's a lemur at your door and they want to know if you have snacks

little warmup sketch today. I forget sometimes I can just start up new projects as a warm up and drawing them always makes me happy.

cleaning this up further to warm up today, I think round glasses didn't suit Riley, so I gave them both similar shaped glasses. I don't think they're gonna wear glasses all the time (heck I forget to draw Ashley with glasses a lot), this is just a fun what if thing
