🍓 can't recall anyone ever drawing braids before so that was a fun thing for Julia to learn how to do, plus the cute hat and beak, we don't get draw avian characters often at all.

drawn on a whim just now. depression's rearing its head tonight but I won't let it take over. hairstyle's sort of based on our real one with the headband keeping the hair from falling into our eyes.

late night warmup sketch because I wanted to draw this specific angle, facing forward but looking back.. pictured it earlier in my mind and surprisingly got it down on paper kinda like how I wanted to.

wanna finish this with colors later but an easy trick to make things look more finished than they are are: screentones and gradients. there's no gradients on this one but there's plenty of tone effects and noise! -Ashley

haven't touched a pen or pencil in so long but I was just chatting with someone about doodling with pens and felt inspired to try and find a ballpoint pen and do one. you can see the spot where I was viciously scribbling trying to get the ink to flow again cause that pen was dry as hell, but it worked! so I drew an Ashley.
