you get given a snowglobe for the trouble. I get what they're going for here but it's hilarious that the hills are weirdly empty of a certain sign cause that would cost licensing money. I guess it is better than the Osaka snowglobe at least.

I think it's fair to shit on GTA for a myriad of reasons, but you can't deny it's cool that just the trailer for GTA VI is introducing a bunch of gamers to Tom Petty and I think that's unironically one of the coolest things about this franchise, the amount of good music people have been introduced to over the years because of it. I loved the SHIT out of K-DST in San Andreas, as I'm sure others really loved V-Rock in Vice City and we don't talk about gta iv in GTA V Los Santos Rock Radio had a bunch of good stuff too, but y'know much as I used to love a little Stevie Nicks, Boston, Robert Plant, the game's been out since 2013 so it got old, and that's only the rock stations I can think of, they had a lot more, the country radio in GTA SA had some good shit too.

you ever hear about bethesda's bug, where you can't be sure if something's a bug or an intended feature and so you just collapse into this ball of ???? well I found one in Starfield. Starfield has several crafting recipes for food, drugs, weapon mods, whatever. There's one that lets you craft some soda that ups your movement speed 20%, which is incredibly useful for running around empty moons you wanna survey cause everything is usually a minimum of 700m to 2km away, but the thing is, say you have enough generic soda to craft those 10 units in my inventory, so you make 10 units. the game lets me keep crafting, weird, but okay, I thought "oh the perk I took that says crafting food doesn't consume ingredients must've triggered", so I checked. It had not triggered, so if I keep crafting the soda, which requires other soda flavors, it instead starts using itself as the crafting ingredient, which.. what the fuck bethesda, I'm no game designer but shouldn't you have put up a flag or something on this one to not let players craft a crafted item they want using the crafted item as an ingredient thus crafting themselves into having a single unit of the item the more they keep doing it???

edit with further thoughts: I had quicksaved before crafting just to understand what the fuck was even happening, and yeah this is just really weird. feels like a bug but I genuinely can't be sure if it is, might be an oversight cause as far as the game's concerned the crafted soda mix still counts as "soda", so the game says "well alright chief you made 10 so you still have 10 to craft more of this thing you just made". this game is just so weird sometimes, it's like the design is folding in on itself.

I forgot I had my mic on so you can her me giggling at this silly shit. on the description of the video I mention hearing someone describe that this "hornets nest" mod converts the space double barreled shotgun into a war crimes shotgun and yeah that tracks.
