as a people we do not need any more "ironic dating sims"

we need an official western release of Tokimeki Memorial and to stop pretending the entire genre has no merit and is fine to make fun of, so many stupid april fool jokes relate to making ironic dating sims and it's exhausting how this cycle never ends. it's like the industry refuses to grow up

this is my mom! but I feel okay posting this because it's so blurry it's unrecognizable. her face is a few pixels when it should be most of the circle lol.

🔷 A special commission we did for Pumamancer on bsky! Shi offered to commission us to help out with costs for the legal name change which I'm forever thankful for, this was also the second time we've been paid to draw one of ourselves in a comm which is an honor I can't describe.

🍓 this commission is so comfy too, we get to hang out with a buddy and play video games!

🫐 when I was sketching it I imagined it's mario kart 8, hence the switch pro controllers and warm light from the TV off-screen :3

🔷 I wanted to do this to the best of our abilities and I'm proud of the final results, it's admittedly a slightly unusual scene, two wolf twins and a two headed cerb, but I hope the comfy comes through! <3

I also made a daytime version for fun as well, the dark one does obscure everyone slightly and it wasn't too much trouble.
