Note that this list is not so much "The Ladies are based off of these characters" as it is "The Ladies' primary personality traits overlap with these characters". Most of how the Ladies are is an organic reflection of their personalities coinciding with the events of the story of FF14.

Stoic and calm, but not without a sense of warmth. Devoted to her ideals and steadfast in her will, and occasionally prone to quiet brooding.

A little flirty and very good at disguising her more serious emotions behind a cheerful facade. Don't be fooled--as playful as she is, her senses and eyes are sharp.
Khoride:

Sultry, sexy violence, with a sense of duty underneath. The allure is inescapable, but test the boundaries at your peril.
