Apparently Serebii is betting on Threads in addition to already having Mastodon before. I also heard about the official Pokémon forums being a thing briefly, but Serebii has also had forums since those were more relevant back in the day and are coming back. Now I'm wondering if we'll just end up working backwards through all the previous online communication methods, like if something like AIM comes back to replace Discord, or if we just end up sticking to IRC, then we just start going back to guestbooks and e-mails, or maybe go even further back to BBS and Usenet.
