We're a Bunch of Weirdos

  • Mostly she/her

Hi! We're a fairly diverse plural system with various origins and interests! ADHD, autism, likely BPD. Uhm... Yeah, gonna work on this a bit more soon?

@lexyeevee

hello! i'm eevee. my Big Thing at the moment is gamedev, but i get distracted a lot so i will occasionally also emit puzzles or toys or internet posts, much like a radioactive sample will occasionally emit alpha particles.

i have a money bag patreon money bag if you're interested. its primary purpose is to motivate me, so it's good if you want to motivate me, and/or receive monthly emails where i apologize for not getting as much done as i'd hoped. but also at $4 you will intermittently get dev builds of fox flux or some other thing! i think that's cool. sorry my impulse is to just post things publicly on the internet so i don't know how to give Exclusives

anyway here is some stuff i've done, or am doing, as well as some particular coposts that i think are good since it's hard to browse back very far. there's more on my website and itch and also just floating around because i forgot to link it anywhere. also sometimes i draw weird furry porn as @squishfox

in progress

fox flux DELUXE

a puzzle-platformer where you play as a fox who keeps accidentally turning into things, which tend to interact differently with the environment. originally a jam game inspired by wario land 3, but it has expanded quite a ways beyond both of those things, and now it's kind of my main project and my baby that i adore. the link is to a fairly meaty demo; i aspire to make it much bigger than that, but it's taking me a while. you can give me $4 for dev builds (or the secret discord channel) to see what i'm cooking up

18 plus eve

an adult visual novel about two girlfriends who are having a hard time. also one of them is a TF witch. this was sort of spun off of clover and over as an easier small thing. tragically i don't have much to show of it aside from a post about how it's proven difficult.

18 plus Clover and Over

an adult visual novel that became, perhaps, a little too aspirational, about a smut author who is struggling to connect. it ended up with a huge cast of characters so we're probably gonna end up releasing it in chunks, maybe? link goes to the prologue, which doesn't have any sex scenes but hopefully gives you an idea of the overall vibe.

video games

Lexy's Labyrinth

a 98%-accurate Chip's Challenge® 1 + 2 web emulator. it doesn't include the original levels for obvious reasons, but it does have a bunch of community levels (CCLP1 and CC2LP1 are pretty solid), plus my own CC2 tutorial levels, and it can load the original levels if you have them lying around. it also has rewind, a built-in level editor with share-by-url, secret debugging tools, okayish mobile support, and entirely custom assets. i think it is pretty cool

Star Anise Chronicles: Oh No Wheres Twig??

a little PICO-8 platformer about my cat's fursona running around on the moon. i cranked this out in like two weeks kind of on a whim, but somehow it turned into one of the best things i've ever done. completely ran out of space on the cartridge too.

18 plus Cherry Kisses

a scheduling puzzle, disguised as a smutty visual novel, disguised as almost like a tiny RPG. you are running a sex shop and folks will not stop telling you about their problems, so maybe you could try to solve a few of them. or not. this is a jam game with a coat of polish on it, but i think it came out fairly dang clever and i'm still pleased with it. (also on itch)

18 plus Alice's Day Off

this is just a shameless porn vn with ten (i think?) routes. i had a cool idea for how it would work but it turned out that "you're standing behind the counter in a shop" was kind of limiting narratively, and also a bunch of person stuff happened right after we released this demo, so this is all that saw the light of day.

a very tiny purrl game

i made this for @glitchedpuppet's 31st birthday; it's the first 3D game i've made completely from scratch. where "scratch" means "in godot", but, you know. it's small and short but i think it's got enough personality to be worth playing.

Star Anise Chronicles: Escape from the Chamber of Despair

this is an (illustrated!) text adventure, and there is a very real chance you will get stuck if you are not already familiar with the genre. but if you want to play as star anise and make a big fucking mess of everything, this is the game for you

Isaac's Descent

a puzzle-platformer, made in PICO-8, as one of my earliest forays into game development. it's short but i still like it; the mechanics are fairly novel, i think.

flathack

a microscopic browser roguelike with only one floor. i made this for an "advent calendar" project, where i did a different thing every day, so there's not a ton to it, but the idea was to give you a teeny tiny no-pressure roguelike that you could play to just pass a few minutes. maybe it's okay at that.

boy i'm coming to realize that i've done a bunch of stuff that isn't even on my website. and half my itch covers are just logos with no indication of what kind of game it is! i should do something about this

on cohost

so far this is just css crimes. maybe if i remember writing a good post i'll put that here too

css for css baby

a very rapid tour through a bunch of interesting CSS stuff, specifically intended for performing css crimes on cohost. loads of examples and links to further reading.

lights out

it's lights out, in CSS. unfortunately the board starts out in the same state every time

chaos lights out

it's lights out, but much worse

baby lights out

it's lights out, but better

rush hour

it's that game about sliding the cars around, in CSS. of course there's only the one puzzle, as usual.

minesweeper

the windows classic, recreated in CSS! more or less

fox flux css-only demo

not really. but it uses a clever trick and i like how it came out

random number generator

for when you need your CSS to be a little less predictable

also

digitle

strictly speaking this is a video game, but i don't have a screenshot of it so i can't put it in the cool list above. it's my answer to wordle: a math puzzle game based on the countdown numbers round (i say "based on" but it's literally that), rigged so each day gives a consistent puzzle to everyone. tragically, the NYT would later copy my idea of copying someone else's idea.

miscellaneous crosswords

i got into making crosswords at one point, and i've done a few now. they're probably still too hard, but they're getting easier and smoother over time.

doom text generator

does what it says on the tin. i couldn't believe this didn't already exist, so i cranked it out in like a day.

particle wipe generator

this makes images that can be used for "star-wipe" types of transitions, either in ren'py or with a fairly simple shader.

veekun

at one time this pokédex was my main claim to fame, but my heart's just not in it any more.

my nudes

just kidding. but while i have your attention, hey, thanks for reading all the way down here.
