This comic I drew in 2016 still gets me a little emotional. Beth's family had to give her up at a very young age, and though Al and his folks adopted her a few years ago and her life is happy, emotions are still gonna happen. For all the differences Al and Beth have, and as grating as they can be on each other, they love each other dearly.
