Well, this time... for a long time, I admired dolls and felt jealous whenever I saw pictures of pretty porcelain or ball-jointed dolls. Even brought up that maybe it was part of my kintype, but people suggested maybe I just liked dolls or wanted to be a doll and I took them too seriously. It took one of my GFs saying she already thought of me as doll-kin to accept it.
Originally... I was a young dark elf dancer, maybe 400 years old (think, like, ten), but I was... incredibly stressed. I felt like the pressure and expectations and burdens on me were just too much... so I went to my friend, a witch (Geez, I know how cliche that sounds now that Empty Spaces is a thing, but she really was) for a way to escape, to be happy again. She drew out my inner self... and I became a mousie-doll. I lost my memories of my old life, and just became her loyal comfort object.
