Hi! We're a fairly diverse plural system with various origins and interests! ADHD, autism, likely BPD. Uhm... Yeah, gonna work on this a bit more soon?

source: Luis Feliz Leon, staff writer for Labor Notes. He writes that Amazon delivery workers at a facility in Pontiac, MI went on an unfair labor practice strike today, and have walked out in solidarity with Amazon Teamsters currently on an unfair labor practice strike. He adds that "A Labor Notes source on the ground tells me more than 50 Amazon workers walked out. This is big news!"

Those on the unfair labor practice strike have been making use of rolling pickets around the country, and the newly walked-out workers have invited the rolling pickets to Michigan in light of their walkout. The basic description and aim of the the rolling picket tactic is as follows:

Since June 24, [Teamsters have] been on strike to demand the e-commerce giant stop its unfair labor practices. They’ve been jumping from one picket line after another at seven warehouses across California, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, taking aim at Amazon’s logistics chain.

You can read more about the tactic, the unfair labor practices being protested, and what Amazon Teamsters have seeking to win in a longer-form piece Leon wrote this week: Amazon Teamsters’ Rolling Pickets Hit Facilities Nationwide.
