Rather than fully explain one’s feelings on certain design choices or attempt to engage in those as artistic decisions, I feel like I just see “bad game design” thrown around as a thought terminating cliche
It's so hollow. If the Souls games did anything good for games as an artform - and I do love DaS, don't get me wrong - it's showing just how hollow it is by doing a bunch of Bad Game Design and forcing these losers to redefine Good Design to include DaS
