Ahhhh, yeah, that stuff. Nods. There is, like much propaganda, a tiny grain of truth in the first one, regarding how profit motive can often kill useful things, for instance, pre-COVID it was a common lament of researchers and science journalists that it was nearly impossible to get funding for vaccine research, as they were largely seen as unprofitable… not to mention the numerous creators who had their art buried by the profit motive one way or another. I could swear I had another example, but I can’t remember it.

The Nazi thing was just weird, especially when it tried to characterize the Soviets as sexless blobs whose physical fitness went unnoticed, as if being fit, muscular, and capable of astounding physical feats wasn’t a huge part of Soviet propaganda.

EDIT: Also, James apparently tried to throw Nick under the bus to win people back after all his plagiarism was exposed, despite the fact that we know that despite being conspiracy-minded and prone to making things up, the parts we can confirm Nick wrote weren’t plagiarized and all the plagiarism is either from stuff James “wrote” or from before Nick joined.
