Hi! We're a fairly diverse plural system with various origins and interests! ADHD, autism, likely BPD. Uhm... Yeah, gonna work on this a bit more soon?

the Guardian is asking people questions about DIY HRT. i am not sure i need to tell y'all not to talk to them but you might want to give a heads up to any trans folks who may be more idealistic about the role of the press right now.

edit: hearing now that the "journalist" in question is Susanna Rustin, warn your friends not to talk to her!

I swear to fuck Terfs think about trans people more than we think about ourselves as a group.

Is this another desperate right-wing scare tactic? Like with the "de-transitioners" or bathroom bills or chopping children's genitals in secret blood-drinking cabals?

Tbh, I don't understand the potential merits of this or any context at all to it outside knowing what HRT is. So, I could be way off the mark here on why this is a problem.

every once in a while a news source decides to write about people who do diy hrt and it makes it more dangerous for everyone to do. but some people trust journalists to give a shit and give them the info they want without thinking about consequences

Just so it's known, Susanna's come out on her twitter and said that the post of her seeking interviewees for this article is fake and that she's not working on a DIY HRT article. Unsure if that means the Guardian isn't working on said article at all, but if they are, Susanna insists she's not a part of it. Either way, don't talk to the Guardian about DIY HRT lmao.
