It's kind of funny that Christians often consider the Bible as a whole the infallible, divinely-inspired word of G-d, given that the bulk of it is a modified version of the Tanakh, about which this was never held. Even by the most traditionalist views, the Torah was written by Moses as dictated by G-d, and the literal words of G-d as conveyed by the Prophets were also the Word of G-d, but the rest of it was, whatever divine touch it might have, ultimately the work of men in all their fallibility.
