a commission i did of one of @mraof's OC's! she's a Jungle Kitera, which is a species from my setting. she's much bigger and more Ferocious than the kiteras from planet Rhiotara 🦁

5000 years ago, on the planet Syndomera, a civilization known as Caelestis possessed unfathomable power. Using divine magics which have been largely lost to time, they once commanded legions of fearsome automata known as "Angels".

Angels came in all shapes and sizes, with some reaching the size of a large spaceship. All of them drew from the same type of lost power source known as "manna", which was typically contained within a standardized type of part called an "Angel Core". The processes for creating Angels and their Cores are a mystery that even The Cybers don't currently understand.

While researching this magical technology, the Cybers managed to recover a mostly functional Core from the otherwise unsalvageable wreckage of an Angel; in their efforts to reactivate this Core, they were successful in mounting it onto a basic "Exchikke" drone Construct and powered it on. Although they were expecting the extremely simple construct to draw energy from the Core and then be overloaded by its output, to their surprise it came to life and began to Speak! 💖

Reactivating Angel 01 was considered a landmark achievement by the Heaven and Hell Department. "Cheri", as she has come to be called, is a fully sentient Construct imbued with the lost magic of the Neraphine. Her Angel Core is both a power source and a processing unit, overriding the basic AI of her Exie body. Her vessel is overflowing with incredible levels of energy, and her sheer destructive capacity is limited only by how much she can output at once without destroying herself.

Cheri's really full of herself, and is constantly talking about how special and ✨Divine✨ she is. She still follows all direct orders the Cybers give her, but she gets really indignant if she feels like she's being treated like "just another construct" and flippantly threatens to "smite" anyone she doesn't like, even her superiors. Although her power rivals that of a "Supreme"-type Construct, her unruliness exceeds them; as such very few Cybers are willing to put up with her or trust her with anything important. But she seems to get along well enough with her creator, Halcyon, often assisting her in her experiments in the innermost reaches of Griyadin.

Sci-fi-y chest design for the sci-fi-y area. This game's had varied chest designs for its more heavily themed areas but this is the first one to really stand out in my view, probably because of how different it is
