The idea's cool and stuff but what makes me really marvel at it is the label for the Heinz product ... doing a "new" mayonnaise that's "real" ... wtf were they doing until then ???
Well, Heinz is a ketchup company so I assume they were just getting into the mayo maket whenever this released. As for why it's "real" mayonnaise, I guess that's to specify it's not a substitute product like Miracle Whip.
I guess that makes sense. I don't think we've ever had any mayo substitutes that left much of an impression around here, it seemed strange to advertise mayo as "real", but if there are "fake" mayos around then sure ...
