the nature of watching gundam build fighters truly is that at some point you end up making a build fighters crossover au...my buddy has had one cooking up for gundam 00 for years now! fully of the opinion that graham aker was destined to be an overenthusiastic Plastic Robot Battle Rival and then something bad happened to him and he ended up in the giant-robots-fighting-to-the-death genre instead.
LITERALLY. LITERALLY WHAT HAPPENED. my friend was telling me about her gwitch/GBF idea and i immediately just went. Hhoruughhh i want to put my gay women in it. and i did and it rules. its just really nice to be able to put characters into the low stake settings of gunpla battles and also just like. do a bunch of gundam infodumping in the process. maybe that last parts just me lmfao
plus you get to imagine everyone in fun outfits! and perhaps also their gunpla get to be in fun outfits!!! this is one of the many great strengths of AUs is that it grants a prime Fun Outfit Opportunity
