not typing all this out i just need to put it somewhere else to be mad about it because i'm mad all over again about my old scene. i typed all this out elsewhere but i just wanted to slam it here. i AM okay and i'll be okay, so no need to worry
thinking about how much i hate my old regional smash scene again and im just thinking about the laundry list of weird shit they did and just flew directly under the radar because nobody could be assed to try and do anything and instead they just wanted to keep it this weird fucking high school clique of people shit talking one another or whatever the fuck
limited but not included to:
-a fucking feet stench tier list for the entire region that nobody seemed to think was genuinely weird when the one person made it. it was one big joke but still a fucking weird one. i wasn't on there, but my girlfriend was, and she was genuinely super uncomfortable with it. it still pisses me off to this day
-all the shit they did to me with posting my face everywhere and not shutting the hell up about it, but i've talked about that at length already here. has left me with a lot of shit to unpack though!!!
-taking super long to deal with really shitty people for whatever reason. it took an abnormally long time for the person who called me and another person fat as his first action in the scene (FOR NO REASON, HE JUST WANTED TO BE FATPHOBIC) to be banned for all the other shit he was doing
-lots of other generally weird behaviors and really weird jokes that my memory's not clear enough on but i know it was just like... not... the best
and like that doesn't even get started on the time shit was ATTEMPTED TO BE DONE about all these problems and uncomfortable actions in the scene and it just didn't get any backing or footing and was just kinda abandoned because of a few circumstances, but also was just treated as unneccessary. sure man
fucking hell. im so glad im out of there because i cannot imagine it's much better
actively remembering too the time a few people were making an "attractiveness tier list" and as soon as they got to a transgender woman in the region they just fucking started snickering. that clip went around for a bit. was fucking gross lmfao

like making an "attractiveness tier list" already is kinda weird, even as a joke, but putting the one transgender woman there in "NEEDS MAJOR REWORK" and giggling is literally bottom of the barrel scum shit. let alone talking about like "oh ban me if you want i don't care".
