alright Vivian Paper Mario being trans slaps obviously, like even aside from the representation being nice to have it also just feels like better writing, but why does it feel like Japanese games have at least historically written a lot of characters as weirdly‐handled crossdressing guys?? Chihiro Danganronpa (spoilers i guess) and Bridget Guilty Gear also immediately come to mind as examples of characters that didn’t feel relatable. does this question make sense. i really don’t know much about this, are there people out there who feel like these characters as they were written were actually great representation for anyone
