there are two three catalyst incidents which led to me posting this (the third thing happened while i was writing this up). i held my tongue after the first because i don’t like ranting on the internet without purpose, but the second reminded me of why trying to contribute to this project has been so frustrating and felt so fruitless for so many years now (i joined the ZDoom forums 13 years ago!), and i realized i could maybe use these stories to more constructively demonstrate what the issues i’ve been having with this project’s management are from a user perspective. the third is just insult to injury at this point. it might be bad form for me to do this, but i’m gonna start off with the one that makes for the longest story just because it’s first in the chronological order.
