Someone made a rearrangement/extension of the NES Hydlide soundtrack and it's actually quite nice. It manages to feel convincingly period-accurate, while simultaneously eschewing the shrill repetition of early famicom titles and avoiding the overwrought technicality of modern chip music.

After seeing Hempuli's post on here earlier today and a friend on discord share a short PC Gamer article on Hydlide ports, I felt compelled to share this.
