maybe this is old news, but I'm starting to think that one of the reasons websites keep on updating to ever more bloated and unperformant forms is to increase the number of misclicks on ads --- e.g. when half the page randomly rearranges itself or when your touchscreen randomly decides you clicked on something two inches down or whatever
