This hack came out last year and it's... okay, I guess. It very much feels like somebody just messing with the editor for a few days to get a grip on things, and frankly I respect that, even if the result isn't anything super special.
Unfortunately, there is no corresponding hack called Metroid Red, but perhaps you could be the one to change that.
