How did the Aztecs get there? I thought the Aztecs weren't known for any sea-based ventures.

Does this imply that DK Isle is in the Caribbean Sea or Gulf or Mexico?

How did they make the ruins? Were the materials sourced locally or shipped over? What about the labor?

What does this say about the imperial ambitions of the Aztec throne?

Were the Aztecs here just an emigrant population from the imperial core settling an uninhabited island, or did the empire subjugate a pre-existing population?

If the latter is the case, would it still be correct to call them Aztecs?

Really, why does the game call the place "Angry" Aztec?

Did the conquistadors ever find the place, or did their society collapse via other means?

What about Cabeza de Vaca? Did he ever say anything about the place?

How racist was Rare when they made this level, on a scale of 1 to 10?

Why did they build a miniature indoor slide over a bottomless pit? And why is an Egyptian scarab beetle or whatever challenging people to races there?

So many questions.
