From a purely atmospheric perspective, potentially.

Most SMT games offer their own unique atmosphere. Nocturne is different than IV, IV's different (to a lesser extent) than V. Soul Hackers is different than Digital Devil Saga, Digital Devil Saga is different than Strange Journey.

The only two I can immediately say are similar enough are IV and Strange Journey, but that's likely from Strange Journey, originally, being the fourth mainline entry.

I need to play the Nocturne remaster and see that fine wine graphical style in true HD rather than through the PCSX2 emulator, but that means finally finishing my LP of it one day. I've been anal about moving on from that playthrough in my spare time.
