Can't promise this works perfectly, but I built a cohost CSS-based nonogram generator: You can specify the vertical/horizontal clues as well as a passive and active cell color:

You can run it somewhere like Google Colab to easily generate your own! Output looks like this (bigger ones might have trouble on mobile? Also I have barely tested it on other devices/browsers):

Thanks! And yeah, same happened on my phone (landscape worked but it was a pain having to scroll constantly), guess I could add a cell size parameter to the generator but then it'd probably be too small. Probably better to just stick to smaller puzzles :)

I'm not a computer wizard, so I have no idea how much more complex this makes things, but (as someone who likes picross) I would love if this came with a way to mark "no" squares as well as a way to mark "yes" squares.
