edit 2: it's back on, my apartment is now warm, and I am starting to catch up on the work I couldn't do without power. soon I will take on the challenge of my refrigerator.
EDIT: with everyone's help I was able to get groceries, fill my car's tank (i apparently had half a gallon left) and pay the immediately impending bills that would have overdrafted my account. this is enough to get back on my feet and keep working on getting my shit together; my hope is that I don't have to ask again. my second hope is that they turn my electricity back on

i truly hate to do this after folks helped me out the last time, but shit outside of my control has made things extremely difficult.
my power has been out for 125 hours now, after the atmospheric river hit on Sunday. we got wind gusts of 102 mph, somehow the worst in the entire state for this huge storm. fortunately my house and car are intact, but it's been real cold. every day PG&E has sent a text saying "we'll have it fixed by 10 pm tomorrow" and before that deadline hits they've sent another text saying "oh actually it's tomorrow again" and I have no idea how long this will actually last. when i go outside at night i hear chainsaws in all directions.
everything in my fridge is certainly ruined (though I managed to save my pot of soup by driving it to work and leaving it) and when I get power back I expect I will have a katrina-type situation to deal with in there. my frozen spinach is done for
not having any light or electricity means I haven't been able to do the home work I rely on to pay my bills, either. shit is backing up badly enough that I don't fully have track of what needs paid and I've spent much of the past few months in a dire scramble to keep up; I had intended to use this entire week to work on that and alleviate it somewhat. my phone bills are going to be enormous because my computer decided to use its hotspot to download something big across two billing periods.
any assistance folks can offer will go toward food, bills, and maybe swapping out my propane tank so I can cook something without giving myself CO poisoning from no kitchen fan. i'm running out of nonperishable food that doesn't need cooking, chips are not a great dinner, and somehow every single one of my many camp stoves is either in storage, misplaced, or out of fuel.
