Im gonna be real here:I did not get why people here and on mastodon were so mad about discord servers, like yeah having to get stuff through there is annoying, but the times i did it were relatively smooth.
But now that one of the ideas people have in the twitter exodus is create discord servers now it's getting on my nerves. I want to see your art not clogg my discord limit more than i already am man, and i refuse to pay for discord nitro just to do that.
People compare the experiences of the past to the present as if they were a perfect landscape of possibilities and commodity when in reality the 30% of them are just seeing it with Boomer-tainted glasses and the other 70% weren't even there to experience it.
This comes specially true when we talk about art creation where people talk about it as if there was this Infinite Money Glitch that got patched.
