Last night the oven threw its breaker for some reason and after I set that back and started it up again it was running hotter than it should have been and burnt our chicken and then today it also scorched lunch and so I spent a non-insignificant time looking up how much effort it would take to replace the thermostat that regulates our oven, or how much it would cost to have someone come out to do that, and eventually I found in my oven's manual you can hit a button combination to calibrate the thermostat to be hotter or colder, so I knocked it down by a bunch and I'm hoping that is a good enough fix
update: its definitely running too hot these things take like 14 mins and it did ruined them in 10
so effectively the oven only goes "on" or "off"
