My oven's just got a knob so I can set it to increments of 25 or a special secret mystery temperature between each setting
secret (few know this): they all use special secret numbers no matter what we do

lerp(0.5, 400, 425) = (0.5)(400) + (0.5)(425)

This is the first time your posts have left me with a sense of disappointment
I always cook my pizzas at 405 because I have to hold a button down to make temperature go up and I never release it fast enough. could I simply press a different button to turn it back down to 400? yes. will I ever? apparently not.
