My priorities are, in order:
cost isn't a big deal this is something I'd rather spend a bit on and not have to think about for the better part of a decade like the sennheisers (which still WORK and stay on my head but I wanna know what I'm buyin when they do go)
I had my last headset break and finally went for a decent-cost studio headset and a snowball mic, would recommend as headsets alone are vastly cheaper for quality:cost ratio and that's the part that's more likely to break over time
I specifically don't want a mic on my desk is the main thing! I know it's a better solution holistically but I would strongly prefer an all-in-one unit.
