All the posts going around about how bad it is on Twitter and how more people click things on Cohost are fine but also completely irrelevant to me, a user that does not create things for you to click on and only wants some assurance that the thoughts I'm projecting into the void aren't going completely unheard. And I don't want to claim I'm in the silent majority or nothin but I do feel like a lot of folks here are missing that social media was at one point intended to be about socializing and not just hustling your grind 24/7, and so even though this website gets better clickthrough traffic or whatever it still feels kind of stuffy and awkward to use as a place to hang out with the homies.

I think a lot of that is just people being more on edge online, Tumblr used to feel more hangouty too but now that I'm back there it's all just reblogs, I think people keep the bulk of their talking in private
