Saw this poster and looked at the website and wonder if this is an eccentric thing for one company or a sign of things to come. As a brand on Twitter you’re just basically a news feed that can at best be a “funny” poster, and at worst has to turn off replies, and on tiktok all the kids already hate you, why not just roll your own social media network to control the message towards a self-selecting audience of people pre-disposed to your bullshit? It makes sense but I’m not sure how many other brands have a comparable cult of personality going for them.
