Tryin to wrap my twitter-scarred brain around the difference between sharing a post with your own post attached and just leaving a comment, from an etiquette standpoint. I saw someone's post that had no comments and was like "huh I thought that would at least get some laughs" and then later I saw the same post with like three other posts attached to it, which you can't see at all if you just click the OP, so people did have a lot of laughs about it but they also wanted to make sure everyone else saw their additional goofs too. So as far as I can tell, commenting is for when you have something to say to the user directly, and sharing with a post (this feels clunky to say) is for when you want everyone to see what you're saying to the user, basically filling the role of a quote-tweet, I guess.
