I mentioned it in my big post that I use Discord to organize and I know people smarter than me have a lot of legitimate grievances with it but I also genuinely don't know how else we'd be getting any organizing done at my store (or in the region, honestly). Like obviously Twitter is useful as a megaphone but even just at my local level I had twenty-somethings going "hey how do I find out more about this stuff I don't really use Twitter" and I'm like well let me just link you to the union's handy website only to discover that the website itself just links back to individual twitter posts instead of like, articles or individual pages. And this was before Twitter's loser stink cranked up to 11 so I honestly don't see it being useful for much longer. I know it makes me part of the problem or whatever but sometimes you just gotta use the tools you're given, yknow?
