If you're on this website then the dem pick for almost everything you've been alive for has been a scandal-ridden creep who is the only pragmatic choice for reasons that no regular brain can comprehend, and so it's been fun seeing the collective reaction when that's not the case, for once.

To me it signals no real policy movement despite how many paragraphs I've already scrolled past here asserting the opposite, but it's causing some of the worst people to get really mad over Shapiro getting snubbed so I'm glad for it
