I got an email that my password vault had been accessed by a new device and I was like "hm that's not right" and then I saw it was like an edge browser and I was like "hm THATS not right" so I changed it right then and there, and just kind of came up with a password on the spot, realizing this was a bad idea, I wrote it down on a piece of paper on my desk. This is also obviously a very bad idea, and today I noticed that piece of paper was gone. I have no recollection of throwing it away - I rather famously don't clean my desk, but it's fuckin gone and I already took out the trash so it's proper gone. This isn't like the end of the world or anything, I can just reset everything slowly but surely, but man do I have egg on my face.
