I will admit it was nice to have a place where the term "little bastard computer" could be appreciated for its own merits. And I feel bad that so many of my friends feel bad cause this place is going away, can't argue with that.
I had a brief internal debate and decided that I do actually regret my unwillingness to attempt to engage with folks more on cohost, because what little I did try for had all been a resounding success and there was no reason to think that further attempts would not also succeed. But I just didn't follow that many folks, and so I just didn't read that many posts, not for any good reason, I just didn't want to commit. Now retroactively I can now go "oh well I just always thought it was gonna cave in so I never got invested" but I did not have any such foresight I was just a cowardly poster.
