i think the point of society is and should be and Must be to signifigantly reduce if not Entirely Eliminate the idea of being "shit out of luck"
i just personally cant envision a situation where, by bad luck or poor planning or negligence or mental illness or Anything, a person should just be screwed over and have no recourse
