Being on social media as an autistic person is like trying to thread a needle blindfolded. There are so many unspoken rules you have to follow, and there's very little feedback telling you whether or not you've done it right.

Nobody knows if the silence is awkward or not.

You can't tell if someone was adding to what you said or critiquing it.

at this point i just say fuck it, i will do my best to be kind and the other people worth talking to will be the ones trying hard, too. someone trying their best to be kind wont make those snap judgements when they meet people, but also, i deserve to be here, or anywhere, as autistic as i am!
